Tower Financial Group was founded in 1999 by Robert W. Kirby, Jr., CLU following 22 years as a producer, agency owner and statewide manager for a major insurance company. At that time he acquired the 22 year old Burke’s Insurance Agency and merged it with Kirby & Associates to form Tower Financial Group. The firm provides insurance and goal oriented planning solutions through experienced professionals. After graduating from James Madison University with his Bachelor of Business Administration Bob entered the insurance and financial services business and began his lifelong career. Prior to the founding of Tower Financial Group in 1999 he worked with Aetna as an agent and then with Travelers finishing as the financial services manager in Virginia.
Bob brings more than 30 years of personal production, brokerage and point of sale experience when he consults with individuals and business owners regarding their insurance needs.
His focus is on solving complex risk based issues with creative uses of life insurance, disability insurance and long term care insurance.
His skill, expertise, and attention to detail have allowed him to be a trusted advisor and partner to other financial advisors and independent insurance agency principals to create custom solutions that address the specific needs of their most important clients.
